The Team at Topik Wear believes strongly in the act of giving back to those who are in dire need. We have currently aligned ourselves with two charitable organizations to give back, one being the Serge Ibaka foundation as well as The American Breast Cancer Foundation.
The Serge Ibaka Foundation aims to inspire children around the world to believe in themselves no matter how hard their circumstances are. Growing up in a poverty-stricken area, created that desire within Serge Ibaka to assist and become an advocate for change within the community. The Serge Ibaka Foundation has had Worldwide impact, but focuses primarily on education and health issues within Congo, Africa and Toronto, Canada communities. The Serge Ibaka Foundation’s mandate aligns with our moral values and we are in the process of putting together a full campaign that will donate a portion of the proceeds from our feature set to this organization.
The goal of the American Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) is to educate and advance research, diagnosis and treatment. The charity is dedicated to constantly improving ways of limiting or preventing this disease that takes away so many lives on an annual basis. Topik Wear decided to give back to this specific charity due to the direct tie it had with one of our Topik Team Members Jae Crowder. This cause is very dear to his heart. This was a marquee influence on our collaborative Modal Boxer where our signature triangle was created in pink, in reference to Breast Cancer movement as a whole.
